JUDY CHICAGO NAMED TO TIME 100

NEW YORK, NY April 19, 2018 - TIME magazine has named Judy Chicago to its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. The TIME 100 recognizes the activism, innovation and achievement of the world’s most influential individuals. Judy Chicago created one of the most important works of art of the twentieth century, The Dinner Party (1974–79), an installation celebrating women’s achievements in Western culture in the form of a meticulously crafted banquet table set for 39 historical women and honoring 999 others. The work is permanently housed at the Brooklyn Museum. Chicago’s work is in the collections of major museums around the world. She is represented by Ben Allison.
