Ann-erika was born and raised in South Dakota. She relocated to New Mexico in 2016. The majority of her professional work has been in the legal field as a paralegal, although she is known for teaching and writing about tribal politics back home on the Rosebud Reservation. Ann-erika is also an artist and poet, with art permanently displayed in the Denver Art Museum and several published poems and articles. She has a BA in English - Writing from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In her spare time, she likes to bike, hike, and play lacrosse with her two kids.

Shelby was born in Minot, North Dakota and raised in Santa Fe. She attended the University of New Mexico and obtained a BA in Philosophy with a pre-law concentration in 2013. Since then, her calling in the legal field has been as a paralegal focusing on intellectual property and commercial litigation. She is passionate, detail oriented, and technology savvy, assisting with the firm’s trademark deadlines and filings. She is always working to expand her knowledge. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, hiking and the occasional skydive.

Nancy Guthrie
Nancy was raised in Texas and lived all over the southwest as an adult before settling in New Mexico in 2014. Her professional experience includes software engineering, nonprofit leadership, project management and program coordination. She has a Computer Science degree from TCU and an MPA from Southern Utah University. Although she is a newcomer to the legal field, she enjoys the challenges and diversity of the Director of Operations position. Nancy loves to help others and has fostered and/or adopted five teenagers and more recently fostered over 300 dogs. She enjoys spending time with her four grown children, many grandchildren, and dogs.
