Rose Cowan
ASSOCIATE
Rose Cowan handles copyright and trademark protection, licensing, and enforcement, as well as commercial litigation. She joined Bardacke Allison after clerking for Judge Lawrence P. Fletcher-Hill on the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Rose graduated from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she earned the Ward Kershaw Clinical Advocacy Prize for her work on compassionate release in the Criminal Defense Clinic. She earned her bachelor's degree from St. John’s College, Santa Fe in 2016. There she was awarded the Don Cook Student Leadership Award for her dedication to student government and promotion of inclusive fun. In her spare time, Rose loves to travel (frequently to the world’s most incredible markets) and tangle with complex cooking projects. In search of perfection, she has been known to try many variations of a single recipe and will wait weeks for the right ingredients. She brings the same commitment to writing briefs and solving legal problems.
